Rwenzori Trekking Cost for Central Circuit

The cost of trekking/hiking/climbing Rwenzori Mountains along the Central Circuit Trail encompasses park guides, porters, food and wages for portters, park entrance fees, client meals, franchise fees, government taxes/VAT, accommodations in all park camps, chefs, and all climbing equipment, including crampons, ice axes, rubber boots, and harnesses. The pricing also excludes warm gear, like sleeping bags, coats, headsock, gloves, hiking shoes, trekking poles, and socks, which will be necessary once you commence summiting.

Each supplementary peak to be hiked will incur an additional fee of $100, while each extra day in the mountains will cost $150.

Cost Of Hiking Rwenzori Mountains In  Kilembe Trail

The total costs for trekking the Rwenzori Mountains via the Kilembe Trail covers all porters, meals, guides, one porter per client (with a maximum luggage allowance of 15kg), and accommodation throughout the mountain trip, while hiking equipment can be rented at the base.

The cost for climbing the Rwenzori Mountains by the Kilembe Trail, comparable to the Central Circuit Trail, is reliant upon the duration and the peaks specified below.

Does Climbing Rwenzori Mountains National Park Require a permit?

No! Rwenzori trekking/hiking Safaris  does not necessitate a hiking permit or documentation, although it permits advance payments before the commencement of your hike. To obtain permission for trekking in the Rwenzori Mountains National Park, payments must be paid at the head offices of either Rwenzori Mountaineering Services for the Central Circuit Trail, Rwenzori Trekking Services for the Kilembe Trail, or Bujuku Eco Tours for the Bukurungu Trail.
