Your memories are like the vivid green lichen that grows on the many living forms dangling from the trees, with the calming sound of the waterfall enhancing their beauty.

Situated on a slender ridge surrounded by towering forests, the Sine Camp features quaint wooden cabins at an elevation of 2,596 meters. While you relax and absorb the breathtaking natural surroundings, you may observe an extensive stretch of rapids and a waterfall descending over rocks. Clients often engage in conversation with the guides about their town and the mountains while seated outside by the campfire. Immediately beneath the bamboo zone, near Sine, one can observe a varied bird population. The campsite is approximately 150 meters far from Enock Falls. Exquisite hanging vines and lush vegetation envelop it. It is very remarkable!

Day 2: Descent from Sine Camp to Base (1,450m)

Following a substantial breakfast, the campsite where you overnighted will determine your itinerary for the day. Campers in Kalalama will certainly hear the Rwenzori turaco, which flourishes among the abundant huge heathers in the area. An elevated vantage point will enhance your ability to observe the mosses proliferating on the ground, logs, and trees, or you may seek the turaco to capture superior images. Subsequently, proceed to the area immediately above Sine Camp by adhering to the path on the left flank of the hill. From that point, one can descend to the stunning Enock Falls and traverse the picturesque woodland.

A picturesque woodland teeming with bird life provides the backdrop for the forest walk, characterized by a gradual decline. Some areas have clumps of bamboo, while others have trees with hundreds of vines hanging between them that are covered in bright green lichen. Impressive waterfalls punctuate the landscape as you traverse this forest section, culminating in Sine Camp. The veranda of Sine Camp provides a picturesque vista of the valley’s cascading waterfalls.
