A Detailed 7 Days Rwenzori Trekking To Mount Emin
Day 1: Nyakalengija (1,650m) to Nyabitaba Camp (2,650m)
Start from Nyakalengija at the park entrance, where you will go under the guidance of your escort to the Rwenzori Mountains. While traversing the verdant forest areas at the base of the magnificent Rwenzori ranges, you will ascend sharply along the path. This section of the mountain is recognized for its biodiversity; thus, remain vigilant for species inhabiting the Rwenzori Mountains, including the playful colobus monkeys and various others. Day 2: Nyabitaba to John Matte Camp (3,505 meters)

Day 3: John Matte to Skull Cave Camp

Day 4: From Skull Cave to Lac de Luna Camp

You will observe an increase in altitude as you proceed with the ascent. Ultimately, you will arrive at the Lac de Luna camp, where you will erect ground tents for the night amidst the stunning landscapes.
Day 5: Ascent to the Summit of Mount Emin (4,798m)
Start your expedition from the campsite to the apex of Mount Emin. Eventually, you will arrive to Mount Emin. Appreciate the magnificent vistas of the summit and the Congo. Upon capturing exquisite photographs with your camera, you may commence your descent down to the Lac de Luna camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Descent to John Matte Camp
You will commence the descent that leads you away from the mountain. From Lac de Luna camp, you will proceed gradually towards Johnmatte camp. The descent is comparatively simpler, yet it presents some difficulty due to the steep inclines going to Bigo Camp. Appreciate the breathtaking vistas of the majestic peaks, including Margherita and Baker. Upon arriving at John Matte, partake in dinner and stay overnight, while also taking the opportunity to see the adjacent Lake Bujjuku, located right below the camp.
