The 3-day Mount Kenya Climbing Chogoria Route brings you to Point Lenana at 4985m. This 3-days Mount Kenya climbing begins in Nairobi and goes through Meru Bandas to Lake Ellis at 3650m meters on day one, then Mintos at 4985 meters on day 2. On day three, you climb up point Lenana at 4985 meters and descend to either Eliss or Chogoria Gate, where you may be picked up and driven back to Nairobi.

A Detailed 3 days Mount Kenya Climbing Via Chogoria route To Point Lenana
Day 1: Mount Kenya, Chogoria, and Nairobi
At 7:30 am, an experienced safari guide from Rwenzori Trekking Expeditions will either welcome you at the airport upon arrival or meet you at your hotel following breakfast. He will give you an overview of the ongoing 3-days Mount Kenya climbing expedition via the Chogoria route. After that, you will depart for Chogoria town, arriving in time for lunch, and meet the porters and guides who will accompany you on your 3 days Mount Kenya Climbing Safari. After registering at the Chogoria Park Gate, you will start your 9-kilometer hike to Lake Ellis. Following that, you will ascend through the Montane forest’s glades to Lake Michaelson, where you will pause to take pictures and take in the stunning surroundings. At this point, you will follow the trail past the enormous heather to Mintos Hut, which is located at 4300 meters, where you can have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Mount Kenya summit (Lenana Peak)- Lake Ellis(3600m)
Before sunrise, you will get up for a hot cup of coffee and some energy foods. Then, wearing warm climbing gear, you will begin your ascent via the square Tarn to Point Lenana, the third highest peak peak of Mount Kenya, at 4985 meters.

Following the peak celebration, head down to Mintos for breakfast before continuing down to Lake Ellis for supper and a night stay.
Day 3: Head to Nairobi
After eating breakfast in the morning, carefully make your way to the Chogoria Park gate. There, you will meet our driving guide, who will take you back to your Nairobi lodging for supper and a night over
